Artist in residence

At our core, we value sustainability and the sentiment behind every piece of mail. We are dedicated to minimising our environmental impact, prioritising electronic communication wherever feasible. However, when we do send tangible items, we ensure they are meaningful and worthy of cherishing.

In 2021, we began a project of partnering with distinguished artists to create unique birthday cards for our clients. These aren't just cards; they are individual works of art, designed to celebrate and commemorate. That year, we commissioned Carmen Riena to design a limited edition pair of birthday cards.

Continuing in 2023, we had the privilege of collaborating with Ukrainian artist Oleg Gryshchenko, whose distinctive style brought a fresh perspective to our birthday celebrations. As we move forward, the talented Nina Kulik will take the baton, promising another year of exquisite artistry to mark the birthdays of our esteemed clients with a limited edition pair of birthday cards, which we hope you'll find special enough to keep.

Each year, our commitment to celebrating you through art grows stronger, as we choose different artists to capture the essence of celebration and appreciation.

NINA KULIK

2024

Nina is an illustrator and poster creator based in Krakow, Poland. Drawing inspiration from her affection for animals and simple shapes, she recently crafted two designs inspired by domesticated animals, blending elements of nature with urban life.

Oleg Gryshchenko

2023

We are delighted to have collaborated with talented artist Oleg Gryschenko, whose work embodies the spirit of Ukraine. Oleg has produced two limited edition designs for us, each consisting of 80 hand-screened and hand-signed birthday cards.

Carmen Riena

2022

They are an artist who caught my eye a while ago with their bright colours and fun filled designs. My brief to them was to create 2 character cards based on my beloved dog and sidekick Micky and our handsome horse Gilbert. I wanted them to have a free hand to create designs that would also showcase their work. I think the results speak for themselves!
